Our main floor half bath didn’t need a lot of work, but it certainly didn’t match the style of the rest of the house. The original vanity and mirror were the matching set to the original vanity and mirror in the upstairs bath we remodeled previously (I shared that project here). My least favorite thing about the original pieces was this top mount sink that was so hard to keep clean! I also didn’t love the big gap between the vanity and toilet and wondered if I could find a wider vanity to take better advantage of the space. Here’s what we were working with when we moved in:

The paint was neutral, but if you’ve read my other posts, you know that I’ve repainted every room in the house Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. After that, it was a quick job to switch out the vanity, mirror, lights, and to add a little decor.
